Bio

     Ms.  Lamboy is a founding teacher at John Adams Academy centered in Roseville, CA.  She taught first grade for the first ten years at John Adams Academy and she currently serves as a mentor on the mentor team with John Adams.  It is the team’s task to drive mission, vision and implementation of the Academy’s Academic Model of education.
       Ms.  Lamboy is a candidate for the MA with an emphasis in Classical Education at the University of Dallas.  She is set to graduate in August 2023.    
      As a student, Ms.  Lamboy’s concept of education and its purpose has been transformed.  Her time with UD afforded her the opportunity to develop a philosophy steeped in the pursuit of truth, virtue, and wisdom as education’s ultimate aim.  
     Whereas the University of Dallas provided the teaching John Adams Academy provided the opportunity and she is passionate about the legacy she leaves behind.  
      Ms.  Lamboy grew up in Marin County, CA and currently resides in Sacramento with her husband of 26 years.  Together they enjoy the leisure of study, the leisure of travel and the leisure of community.    She loves fairies, he loves Tolkien.  They are match made in heaven.
