FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What if someone donates online without telling me?

We will still be able to credit your scholar appropriately, provided the donor included the scholar’s name and grade accurately when making their donation.

Money received after September 29th will be accepted, but will not qualify for prizes.

What am I raising funds for?

Our Annual PSO Fundraiser supports a myriad of enrichment opportunities for our scholars!

In the past, fundraiser money has gone to support school activities, assemblies, and other needs related to our scholar’s experience here at the school, such as: visual and performing arts, sports jerseys, curriculum supplementation, pre-approved teacher grants, library books and shelving, social events, computer programming and equipment, supplies for the playground and P.E.,

and much, much more!

22-23 Grants

What’s in it for my classroom?

The Parent Service Organization ( PSO) accepts applications for Teacher Grants (based on funds collected) for staff members to apply for individual classroom needs.

“The purpose of [the Teacher Grant program] is to provide funds for activities, supplies and events that will enhance and support the scholars’ experiences here at John Adams Academy. They will be granted on a “first come, first served” basis, and should be curriculum-based, with the benefits provided being long-term for the scholars and/or the Academy. We express deep gratitude to our community and families for their generous donations, which make this Grant Program possible.”
