Carlos A. Yniguez embraces John Adams Academy’s mission to develop servant leaders who will become the defenders and protectors of freedom. He believes passionately that the promise of tomorrow’s liberty lies solely in the formation of virtue in the youth of today and that a classical education “promotes an awaking of the spirit of conviction and the responsibility to form one’s heart and conscience to ultimately impact society as a whole.”
A second generation educator, Mr. Yniguez brings JAA an extensive background in youth development. He is a passionate mentor with a proven track record of assisting young men and women in achieving their educational and character development goals. He is a veteran of both legal and corporate industries. Mr. Yniguez is the former Co-Director and Dean of Formation of the Sacramento Leadership Cooperative Program and is the Regional Coordinator of Conquest North America, a national apostolate of character development programs. A formally trained Certified Paralegal, he is a graduate of the Lorenzo Patino School of Law and a former behavioral counselor for PRIDE Industries.
An avid baseball fan and long time athlete, Mr. Yniguez plays outfield for the MSBL Orioles and continues to live in Sacramento with his wife Robin, near the neighborhood where he grew up.
