Dean of Secondary - EDH

Zeta Cammarota joined the faculty of John Adams Academy in 2014 as a math and English teacher.  After teaching for 3 years, she moved into the position of Director of Curriculum and contributed to the development of the secondary program. Mrs. Cammarota is now serving the Academy as the Dean of Secondary Education at the El Dorado Hills campus.  She received a classical liberal arts education from Thomas Aquinas College and recently completed a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction through Western Governor's University. She holds 4 teaching credentials: Multiple Subject, English, Social Science, and Math, and a Preliminary Administrative Credential. Mrs. Cammarota has served the classical education community for over 20 years as a teacher and mentor to homeschooling families, cooperative learning groups, private schools, and charter schools.  As a long time resident of Folsom, she is thrilled to be serving John Adams Academy families in her own community.

“[Liberal education] is the education which gives a man a clear, conscious view of their own opinions and judgements, a truth in developing them, an eloquence in expressing them, and a force in urging them. It teaches him to see things as they are, to go right to the point, to disentangle a skein of thought to detect what is sophistical and to discard what is irrelevant.”
― John Henry Newman
