About Me

As one of the founding teachers at John Adams Academy, Mrs. Brown has had a hand in creating the framework of our elementary curriculum and culture. She has demonstrated her dedication to our scholars in the classroom, providing opportunities for them to experience rich curriculum while while fostering valuable relationships with our team and their families.

After three years in the classroom at John Adams Academy with 30 scholars, Mrs. Brown was thrilled to move from the classroom to the office of Dean of Education to 570 scholars in 2014. Now, she's ready for the adventure of having all the elementary scholars at all three campuses as Headmaster of Elementary Education.

With over twenty years experience in early child and elementary education, Mrs. Brown brings her commitment to scholar development at John Adams Academy. Her love of learning, passion for reading, and contagious excitement inspire scholars and families to strive for excellence in character and academics.

Mrs. Brown lives in Lincoln with her husband and they have three children.  She enjoys raising chickens, gardening, and curling up next to the fire with a good book.
