The athletic program at John Adams Academy Roseville builds more than strength, it forges character. Our Middle School scholars participate in the Sierra Foothill Middle School Athletic League. Our High School scholars participate in the Central Valley California League and follow the standards set forth by the CIF. From the classroom to the field or court, our scholar-athletes grow as disciplined, virtuous leaders committed to teamwork and service.

The arts are essential to shaping well-rounded servant leaders. Our secondary scholars grow in virtue through an extensive exploration of the Arts. In addition to classes in Drama, Music, Fine Arts, and PE; scholars have the opportunity to perform in plays, musicals, recitals, concerts, and with our award winning Virtus™ choir. This allows scholars to refine their talents and blend expression with service.

Our classical curriculum shapes scholars into virtuous leaders through the study of the Classics and rigorous academics. These timeless works include literature, founding documents, poetry, art, music, and speeches which are studied through reading, writing, thinking, and discussing. Through an American Classical Leadership Education® , our scholars are taught how to think, not what to think. 

Learning extends beyond the classroom through meaningful traditions and transformative experiences. Scholars celebrate community and leadership with events like the Senior Formal and Academy Service Days, while the Senior Capstone and Philadelphia trip mark the culmination of their academic journey. These experiences connect scholarship with service, giving scholars the opportunity to reflect, lead, and engage with America’s founding ideals.
