11th Grade U.S. History Periods 2 & 3

This class will study topics spanning from Pre-Columbian America through the Present. There will be a focus on the people, events, and movements which shaped our history, as we use primary and secondary source documents to fully understanding major historical events as well as seemingly minor events with major consequences. Scholar interaction is key, as Socratic seminars, presentations, and classroom participation comprise significant portions of class grades.
