About Me
Kayla Meyer is an experienced Math 8 mentor who has taught mathematics at multiple levels, including 6th through 9th grades and college math courses. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics Education Composite from BYU-Idaho and a Master's in Secondary Math Education from Western Governors University. Kayla wholeheartedly embraces the Ten Core Values of John Adams Academy and has a strong desire to help scholars in their development into servant leaders. She is passionate about helping students discover the beauty and joy in math’s many facets, emphasizing integrity and honesty in her teaching. Kayla strives to connect math concepts to real-life applications that resonate with her students. Outside the classroom, she enjoys sports and shopping, bringing a lively and relatable approach to mentoring scholars.
