President (currently vacant)

Amanda Erskine - Vice President of Elementary

Amanda Pic

With more than 15 years of experience in the non-profit sector, Amanda is a dedicated professional who thrives on giving back to the community. She is on the board for the Shingle Springs/Cameron Park Chamber of Commerce and is currently pursuing a master's degree in psychology, which enhances her ability to understand and support individuals and communities. When not working or volunteering, Amanda enjoys spending time with her family, watching the kids play sports, and tending to their farm.

Ronda McBride - Vice President of Secondary
Ronda

Ronda feels blessed to have been able to be a stay-at-home mom for three wonderful boys. Her two older boys have already graduated from college and are living in Dallas, and her youngest is starting his second year at John Adams Academy-El Dorado Hills. We love the classical education he is receiving and are so thankful to have found this school. He is truly thriving here. A native Alabamian, Ronda has also lived in Atlanta, Georgia; Dallas, Texas and for the last 22 years, El Dorado Hills. She feels fortunate to have had the opportunity to be active in the schools that her children attended, having coordinated numerous Harvest Festivals and Galas as well as volunteering to help with other school activities and fundraisers over the years. She looks forward to working with the other PSO board members in the coming year in support of the faculty and scholars.

Nicole Smith - Secretary
Smith

The 2024-25 school year will be the Smith family's 7th year at John Adams Academy EDH! Nicole is looking forward to giving back by serving the JAA Community on the PSO Board! She has served on several committees and helped with countless events on campus over the past seven years. The executive board is lucky to have her!

Julie Cemo - Treasurer

Julie is looking forward to giving back by serving the JAA Community on the PSO Board for the second year! She is the mother of a first grader at JAA and feels blessed that her daughter has the opportunity to receive a classical education.  She has an immense appreciation for the values of the school and the emphasis on America's heritage.  Julie's passion for philanthropy and civics has guided her career as a fundraising consultant.  She enjoys volunteering in the classroom and engaging with the amazing future public servants of John Adams Academy.

Alicia Contreras - Historian

Alicia is very excited to be part of the John Adams Academy PSO Board! Her family has been with the Academy for 6 years now and she's volunteered in so many ways over the years. She always helps with staff luncheons, events, and so much more! Alicia is looking forward to a busy year with many rewarding activities throughout the JAA community!
