Welcome to Fourth Grade

Ms. WiskelWelcome to fourth grade at JAA. I am excited to be returning for a third year at John Adams Academy.  I look forward to inspiring your scholar through my own personal joy of learning. This year is going to be an exciting journey for us all, experiencing the fourth grade curriculum in a deep and intentional way, both in person and through distance learning, all the while developing as servant leaders. 

 

Just a little bit about myself, I have raised my 3 children, Billy (22) Madison (19), and Nico (17) in the EDH community for 14 years. I enjoy reading, relaxing by the pool, and spending time with family and friends. I challenge myself to learn new things like watching my youngest play soccer via a live video feed, because he lives in Washington with his dad, I don't get to see him very often. 

 

It is my hope that all of the things that we will be discovering in fourth grade will create exhilarating family discussions at the dinner table or on the long car rides to and from sporting events. Don’t be afraid to ask you scholar more than, “What did you do at school today?” They will learn so many things each and everyday!
