In addition to good working conditions and competitive pay, it is John Adams Academy's policy to provide a combination of supplemental benefits to all eligible employees. These include time-off benefits, such as vacations and holidays, insurance, and other plan benefits.
Eligibility – Any full-time employee working more than 30 days is eligible on the 1st of the following month.
Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance - John Adams Academy contributes funds toward employee benefits that significantly reduce or eliminate employee premium costs.
- Health Saving Account – for employees who choose an HSA-eligible medical plan, JAA contributes funds to offset the cost of the High Deductible plan.
- Company-paid Life, Long-Term, and AD&D insurance with the option to purchase additional life insurance.
- Sick days – they are front-loaded with ten (10) days each year. Up to three (3) days may be used for personal days.
- Retirement Plan - all employees will be automatically enrolled in the 403b plan with a 3% payroll contribution. After one year, if eligible, JAA will match up to 4% and contribute 3% non-elective contribution. Traditional and ROTH IRA options are available.
