Meet Your Nursing Team
My name is Kristen Barber and I am a registered nurse with a background in pediatric nursing. I am privileged to serve as the school nurse for John Adams Academy - El Dorado Hills. I was honored to join the JAA team in the 2018-2019 school year. My role as school nurse is to keep our scholars safe and healthy while at school and encourage healthy choices for a lifetime. 
My name is Megan Schneider and I am the school nurse for John Adams Academy - Roseville campus. I am a registered nurse with a background in pediatric rehabilitation nursing. I am passionate about keeping our scholars healthy to promote a positive learning environment.
Hi, my name is Shannon Sessions and I am one of the nurses at John Adams Academy - Lincoln! I live locally here in Lincoln and enjoy working with your scholars every day. My background in nursing consists of perioperative care, ophthalmology surgery and triage, and cancer case management. I will be starting my Masters program of Nursing this Spring to continue my education in school nurse credentialing. On my free time, I enjoy spending time with family, being outdoors, and painting.
Hi, my name is Anne Bond and I am one of the nurses at John Adams Academy - Lincoln. I’m originally from Missouri and have lived in California for 17 years. I have 4 kids that attend the Roseville campus and I started working in Lincoln in the fall of 2022. I’m loving working here! The staff is amazing and the scholars have taught me a lot. In my spare time I spend time with my kids, go camping, and I love to quilt and crochet. I also love my huge cat named Smokey.
