Comprehensive Benefits Offered

In addition to good working conditions and competitive pay, it is John Adams Academy's policy to provide a combination of supplemental benefits to all eligible employees. These include time-off benefits, such as vacations and holidays, insurance, and other plan benefits.

Eligibility – Any full-time employee working more than 30 days is eligible on the 1st of the following month.

  • Choice between Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) or
  • High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) – Health Savings Account (HSA) with up to $3000 JAA contribution annually

Retirement Plan: 403b Tax Sheltered Annuity Plans

  • JAA paid nonelective contributions of 3%.
  • Matching contributions up to 5% after one year.
  • Continued Social Security contributions.

Life Insurance

  • Basic Life Insurance: employer paid.
  • Voluntary Supplemental Life:  employee expense.

Longevity Stipend

  • After 5 years of employment, we offer our full-time and part-time employees longevity stipends ranging from $1,000-$4,000 and increasing with the length of employment.
