Civil Rights training is to be done annually at the beginning of the year by all who work in the school meal program. Once completed, please put time (:15min) in your training tracker.

Production Records:Production records must be started before service, updated during service as needed, and completed accurately and in full immediately after breakfast and lunch service each day.
Required HACCP Documentation:
Receiving Documentation ProceduresAll delivery documentation must be reviewed and completed on the day of receipt.
Central Kitchen (CK) Pick Lists:Received daily from the CK driver. Staff must check off each item as it is received. Any discrepancies (e.g., incorrect quantities) should be clearly circled, and CK must be contacted immediately.
Delivery Slips (Dairy, Pizza, Gold Star):All delivery slips must be reviewed, verified, and documented on the same day the order is received.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Missed order deadline procedure
In order to process an order AFTER the deadline, email central.kitchen@johnadamsacademy.org
1. SUBJECT your email LATE ORDER so kitchen can get attention to it as soon as they can.
2. CC your site supervisor in the email to CK.
3. Let kitchen know your order was submitted past the deadline in the email and what the order was for so they know where to look to find it.
4. CALL 916-888-1426 to confirm receipt of the late order email, leave message if no answer.
5. Campus to send runner to CK for order pick-up at CK.


We cannot make parents/guardians complete a Medical Statement form (just like we can't make them complete a Meal Application) or delay a meal modification once we are made aware.
